Finesse 12 U USSSA State Champions!
The Finesse 12 U girls finished the regular season strong, going 6 -1 and winning the USSSA State Tournament in Canton this past weekend.
Vince Lombardi once said, "The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary." Congratulations to our great group of girls and great coaches who worked hard this year to become one of the finest 12U teams in the State. It has been a pleasure to watch this team blossom and receive the well deserved awards.

Here is what our girls have to say on what it means to them to be STATE CHAMPION

"When you believe in your goals, and are willing to put in the work, the results are....STATE CHAMPIONS!" - Makenzie Nieto #25

"Being a State Champion means that people can see how much work I have put into softball to get this far. To me it's setting a goal and accomplishing it. I set a goal to become state champion and I pushed to become a better softball player during that time to succeed. Being state champion is an honor because this shows how much drive and determination you have because you worked through all your blood, sweat, and tears to become this good. Lastly, being a state champion shows how much you believe in yourself because you believed you could become better in time and you believed that you could accomplish that goal you have been working towards." - Olivia Logan #1

"Winning a state championship means working harder than all of the other teams in practice. It also means reaching all of the goals that you set and pushing yourself to get better." - Riley Hison #11

"Being a State Champion means that all of my hard work paid off. The times I wanted to give up, but kept pushing on are now 110% worth it and it's a feeling I am going to keep with me forever!" - Mackenzie Cahill #22

"After all the hard work put in over the winter and summer in the rain or shine, fence pull after fence pull, ground ball after ground ball, is the reward of being a State Champion - it's a Finesse thing." - Rachel Vieira #17

"The words State Champs mean to me that my goal and the team's goal from the beginning of the year has finally come true. We didn't take first last States' tournament but we got better and prepared ourselves for this week's tournament. I am proud of everyone for coming together and put something into winning this tournament. In State Champ it means one person, in State Champs it means a team and that is what Finesse is. There is no I in SOFTBALL!" - Nicole Wojcik #10
